Be aware of following steps in Critical lifting*
1. Load calculations
2. Selection of the crane depends upon the capacity(Ensure rated load should be below 75%)
3. Crane should be TPI certified (MLI calibrated and SLI in working condition)
4. Selection of Suitable Slings, D/Bow shackles
5. NDT testing for Hooks and Shackles by TPI
6. All lifting tools and tackles are TPI certified
7. Soil stength inspection
8. Lifting Plan to be approved by lifting champion
9. Ensure placing position of crane(ensure maximum tipping points for boom position)
10. Ensure CG of the load before lifting and make sure load have to balanced with respective to CG
11. Ensure Crane sheave, Load and Hook are having same CG.
12. Certified Lifting Crew to be finalised
13. Trail run
14. Pre Lifting Talk to be taken
15. Ensure area to be barricaded(length of boom + 2m)
16. Lifting and Shifting PTW
17. Lifting Vedio (for calturing mistakes records)
18. Daily Crane Inspection Check List filling to be ensured.
